Why do we bring the chastisement of God upon ourselves?


Brothers and Sister, on this day of thanksgiving let all remember to do and say all we do before God in righteousness honoring Him and Christ the Living Word. For it is written;


Matthew 12:30-32 (KJV)

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathered not with me scattered abroad.


We post videos and things other people have done, knowing in our hearts it is not of God.  This is a good example of how people professing to walk in Christ are bringing God’s condemnation, His Chastisement upon their heads and making them liars before God. For it is written;


Matthew 5:19 (KJV)

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.


We that confess so willingly that we are of Christ and Walk in His example, fall so easily into sins tap in what we share with one another and the world.


We so easily use the excuse God Will forgive what we call little things, because we say we are Born Again and Indwelled. Things that we know it is written that it is an abomination to God. But because it is tied to something saying Happy Thanksgiving, or God Bless or Merry Christmas we do it anyway.


Example; there is a post saying Happy Thanksgiving from a man who plays and dresses as a woman. And because he is an actor and it is acceptable to the flesh and the world, Satan. We accept it and passes it on as a “Christian” act. And ignore what is written;


Deuteronomy 22:5 (KJV)

5 The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.


And we are also warned about excepting such behavior;


1 Corinthians 15:33-34 (KJV)

33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.


2 Thessalonians 3:13-15 (KJV)

13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

15 Yet count him not as an enemy but admonish him as a brother.


So, let us all ask ourselves, how does this look in God’s eyes when we bring forth such thing before Him in offering Thanksgiving? What do we think God’s judgment of our profession of Faith and Obedience?


And do not say God will forgive such things, again it is written;


John 3:3, 5-7 (KJV)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.


6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.


Romans 2:28-29 (KJV)

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:


But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.


Romans 3:19-26 (KJV)

19 Now we know that what things so ever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.


20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.


21  But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;


24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness


for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;


26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.


1 John 3:9-11 (KJV)

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remained in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.


10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.


11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
