We must Honor Our Vows Unto God if We are to be Born Again

We must Honor Our Vows Unto God if We are to be Born Again

Out of all the vows we have made unto God by His Commandments. The marriage vow is the most defiled along with have no other God’s before Me. And the two go hand in hand, for when we defile our marriage vow, we do so for the god of lust and desire of the flesh.

For even Adam and Eve did so when they fell from grace. For Adam choose to heed the flesh of his wife, and Eve choose the lust and desire of the flesh for power. Both turning away from God.

Now, let us look at God’s Word of marriage and make sure our vows of marriage so that we do not be disqualified from salvation before God.

Genesis 3:16 (KJV)
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Genesis 3:17-19 (KJV)
17  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it were thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

1 Corinthians 7:3-5 (KJV)
3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

1 Corinthians 7:10-17 (KJV)
10  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
11  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
16 For what know thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how know thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called everyone, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

Ephesians 5:20-23 (KJV)
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
