Training in God’s Word His Way

Brothers and Sisters, we seek the Spirit and Truth of the Letter and Spirit of the Word of God, the gospel of the Holy Spirit of Jesus, God’s Living Word. But do we really know His truth; do we really understand His spirit or word? Do we know the whole Spirit and Truth, or just a few key scriptures?

Many take pride in remembering and quoting scripture chapter and verse. But what are they quoting, the spirit, the truth or just words? It is written; the law is the knowledge of sin: Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Romans 3:19, 20)

And the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart; Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust. (1 Timothy 1:5-11 NKJV)

So the Law/Commandments, the Letter of the Word, is the knowledge of sin given to convict the sinner of their sins so they will repent, and no one will be justified by the deeds of the law. How can one repent, confess and be saved without the Spirit of the Word, and how do you find the Spirit of the Word? For to gain Salvation, we must come through the Whole Word of God, through the Holy Spirit and the Gospel of our Lord Jesus, the Letter and Spirit of the Gospel that gives the Spirit and Truth  of the Holy Spirit.

The Letter of the Word is to show us where we are wrong in our walk in the flesh. The Spirit of the Word is to show us how to do what is right and walk in the Spirit.

For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. (Romans 7:5, 6 NKJV)

The Letter, Spirit and the Word are like the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each separate but part of the Whole, One depend on the other as one complete the other as a whole. So you must know the Word but you must also have the understanding of the Letter and the comprehension of the Spirit. Then you can find God’s Spirit and Truth.

To find the Spirit and Truth of God’s Word we must study the whole Word, not just a chapter and or verse but the Whole Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. We cannot read and study the Word of God, the Bible, like a novel or text book.  The Bible is the complete prophecy of the Covenant between God and man, the history, individual stories and the Law/Commandments.

The History gives us the overall picture, the individual stories shows us what happened the, who, what, when, where and why of a given time, place or people, and the Law /Commandments tells us what and how to do what is right in God’s eyes and to walk the spiritual walk.

To find the Spirit and Truth of God’s Word, you have to search the whole Bible for what the Law/Commandments says about any subject, like sin, salvation, faith, resurrection, love, forgiveness etc… Then find the meaning of keywords in the Greek and Hebrew, like sin, salvation etc. so you can understand the true meaning of the whole verse/chapter and how it is used in the Whole Bible. At this point you can use the History and individual stories to get more depth as to how it is applied to any given time.

This process is done by using the Strong’s Concordance to find all the scriptures that speak to any given subject, and then you can cross reference them to see how the law/commandments are applied throughout the Bible and get the true meaning of the keywords from the Greek, and Hebrew. The hard part of this process is learning to recognize when the scriptures are talking in general about the history, a given individual place and or time, or directly about the law/commandments and how to apply them. Also doing so in a manner where you do not add any private interpretation into God’s meaning of the Word as He has given it.

It is this reason God has called His True Worshipers to come and build the United Fellowship of the Spiritual and Physical Body of Christ here and through the internet to receive His training and guidance in His Word as He has given it and as How He wants it preached and taught. I tell you the Truth, God has taught me for 55 years and it was a struggle, at first, to learn how to accept His Word His Way, without putting in my or the worlds interpretation or ideas. But once I understood God’s Word and Spirit, His Truth opened up to me in a whole new way and my spiritual walk became easier and a greater joy.
I Pray you will answer God’s calling and come, so we can rejoice in His Spirit and Truth together to His greater glory, across the world.
This is the Leadership structure God has established, in His Word, by His Leadership.
1 Corinthians 12:27-31 (KJV)
27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28  And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29  Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30  Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31  But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Greek Strong’s Number: 1985 Bishop
Greek Word: ἐπίσκοπος Transliteration: episkopos
English Words used in KJV:
bishop 6, overseer 1

a superintendent, i.e. Christian officer in general charge of a (or the) church (literal or figurative) :- bishop, overseer.

1 Timothy 3:1-7 (KJV)
1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desires a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 One that rules well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Titus 1:6-9 (KJV)
6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; 8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

 Greek Strong’s Number: 1249 Deacon
Greek Word: διάκονος Transliteration: diakonos

minister 20, servant 8, deacon 3

8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.

11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Now as we saw the office of Deacon can be divided into the gifts of Christ (Holy Spirit) teachers, pastors (technically a deacon or deaconess), ministers, servants and prophets. Which the Word speaks of in Ephesians 4.

Ephesians 4:6-13 (KJV)
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
