This is all God promises us for our flesh. But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

This is all God promises us for our flesh. But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Matthew 6:25, 30-34 (KJV)
25  Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

30  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.

33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

However, God does promise us to give all that we need to do His work that He puts before us to complete. Both physical and spiritual.   So, let us ask spiritually and not ask amiss as it is written;

James 4:1-3 (KJV)
1  From whence come wars and fighting among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?   2  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

So let us;
Philippians 4:4-7 (KJV)
4  Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6  Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7  And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
