No Flesh in Heaven Only Spirit

No Flesh in Heaven Only Spirit

Let us start by understanding what God means by Flesh (Natural Body), Soul (Spiritual Body) and Spirit. And what is written that we, the Born Again, shall be like Him the Holy Spirit, Christ Jesus.

1 John 3:1-2 (KJV)
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:

but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Soul G5590 ψυχή (l05x) psuche, psoo-khay’; from 5594; breath

That in which there is life, a living being a living soul (1Cor 15:45);

The Soul, the seat of the feeling’s desires, affections, aversions, (Luke 1: 46; 2:35)

The, (human) soul in so far as it is constituted that by the right use of the aids offered it by God it can attain its highest end and secure eternal blessedness. the soul regarded as a moral being designed for everlasting life (3 Jn 2; 1 Pet 2:11)

The soul as an essence which differs from the body and is not dissolved by death. (distinguished from other parts of the body), Mt 10:28; Rev 6:9

Natural Body 5591ψυχικός (6x) psuchikos, psoo-khee-kos’; – from 5590; sensitive

The psychikos person one who yields in everything to the human reasoning’s of the soul (5590), not thinking there is need for help from above.

Spirit G4151 πνεῦμα (385x) pneuma, pnyü’-mä; – from 4154;

(human) the rational soul

(superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit: -Spirit(111x). Holy Ghost (89x), Spirit (of God) (13x), Spirit (of the Lord) (5x),

Spiritual Body G4152 πνευματικός (26x) pneumatikos, pnyü-mä-tē-ko’s

mat-ik-os’; from 4151;

The resurrection body of the dead in Christ is “spiritual,” i.e., such as is suited to the heavenly environment, 1 Car 15:44;

All that is produced and maintained among men by the operations of the Spirit of God is “spiritual,” l Cor 15:46 …. The spiritual man is one who walks by the Spirit both in the sense of Gal 5:16 and in that of 5:25, and who, himself, manifests the fruit of the Spirit in His own ways. According to the Scriptures; the “spiritual” state of soul is normal for the believer. but to this state all believers do not attain, nor when, it is attained is it always maintained. Thus the; apostle, in 1 Cor 3:1-3, suggests a contrast between this spiritual state and that of the babe ‘ in Christ, i.e., of the man who because of immaturity and inexperience has not yet reached spirituality, and that of the man who by permitting jealousy, and the strife to which jealousy always leads, has lost it. The spiritual state is reached by diligence in the Word of God and in prayer; it is maintained by obedience and self-Judgment. Such as are led by the Spirit are spiritual, but, of course, spirituality is not a fixed or absolute condition, it admits of growth; indeed, growth in ‘the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” 2 Pet 3:18, is evidence of, true spirituality.

AS IT IS WRITTEN;

Genesis 3:19 (KJV)

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken, for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

John 6:63 (AKJV)

63 It is the spirit that quickens (gives life); the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 15:50 (AKJV)

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Even in the Living Word Christ Jesus there is the Letter (Natural) and the Spirit of the Word;

Here we see the Spirit of the Word Written on our hearts and minds;

Jeremiah 31:31-34 (KJV)

31  Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband unto them, said the LORD:

33  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, said the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Paul explains the difference;

Romans 2:28-29 (KJV)

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 3:19-22 (KJV)

19 Now we know that what things so ever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 7:5-6 (KJV)

5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (KJV)

4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit giveth life.

For even in our Faith it is by the Spirit of God’s Grace and the Letter (natural/written) Word, that the Letter of the Word is our schoolmaster to bring the Flesh unto the Spirit.

Romans 4:13-17 (KJV)

13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

16  Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickened the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Galatians 3:23-26 (KJV)

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

For this reason, we are compelled to sacrifice the Flesh that the Spirit might live;

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

FOR IT IS WRITTEN;

John 3:3, 5-7 (KJV)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

By the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus;

Ephesians 1:11-14 (KJV)

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

1 John 3:9-11 (KJV)

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remained in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

So, if we are truly seeking and desire the Indwelling. Let it be by the Complete and desired Faith of a willing Obedience unto God’s Will, of our Soul and Spirit making our Flesh a Living Sacrifice unto God through Christ Jesus.

If we do any less there is no salvation. For Christ gave His all on the cross and we must give God our all, Soul and Spirit, heart and mind.

So, let us purge ourselves of the lust and desires of the things of the flesh and the world. Seeking first the Kingdom of God as written.

Matthew 6:31-34 (KJV)

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Are we ready for salvation? Can we say we do not sin against God and Christ, the Living Word?
