House for God

House for God

Why do we as men insist on walking in the flesh building large Churches for large assemblies of people, when Christ Jesus speaks to us saying “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”?

Do we not understand that it is not the size of the building or the assembly that matters but the number Souls Born Again of the Indwelling of Christ, according to the Word as it is written;

John 3:3, 5-7 (KJV)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Ephesians 1:11-14 (KJV)

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

1 John 3:9-11 (KJV)

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remained in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

And also consider that God only asked twice for a house for Him to be built. The first through Moses according to God’s Will, and the second to honor David’s will to honor God.

Now read what God has written about His House;

2 Samuel 7:5-6 (KJV)

5 Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me a house for me to dwell in?

6 Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.

Isaiah 66:1 (KJV)

1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

Matthew 8:20 (KJV)

20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Matthew 18:19-20 (KJV)

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 21:13 (KJV)

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Remember God’s covenant through Christ, is between God and each person individually and His true House is the heart and mind of the Soul and Eternal Spirit of the Born Again of the Indwelling. For God is Spirit and Christ the Holy Spirit His living Word of Creation;

Romans 8:9 (KJV)

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Romans 8:11 (KJV)

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Ephesians 3:17 (KJV)

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Colossians 3:16 (KJV)

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

1 John 4:13 (KJV)

13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

So, let us concern ourselves with walking in the spirit and honor God by honoring each other.

John 13:34 (KJV)

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Romans 12:10 (KJV)

10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Romans 13:8 (KJV)

8 Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Instead of desire things of the flesh and the world that perish with using. As it is written;

Colossians 2:20-23 (KJV)

20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
