Do We Understand Salvation

Do We Understand Salvation?
Brothers and Sisters, do we really understand salvation? Do we not have the knowledge that Christ died once for all, His blood covers sin once for all and we become Born Again, Indwelled with the Holy Spirit once? And “where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.”? For if we are Born Again, Indwelled. We have no need of forgiveness of sin for we cannot and will not willfully sin again.
So if we understand? Why do we continue in sin? Or why do we try to make excuses, using the scriptures as our defense, that all have sinned? For it is written;
Romans 1:19-21 (KJV) 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead;
so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Now take heed and read the truth of God’s Word. And ask ourselves, are we Born Again according to the scriptures, the Word of God, Christ Jesus?
Romans 3:22-25 (KJV) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness
for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God;
Hebrews 10:5-18 (KJV) 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou would not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
1 John 3:6-11 (KJV) 6 Whosoever abides in him sinned not: whosoever sinned hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remained in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
So, let us ask ourselves, do we live with the Indwelling of our soul? Or do we live with the excuses of our flesh?
