Walk in Paul’s example of Christ doing more with less

Walk in Paul’s example of Christ doing more with less

Why do we always try to do more than what our resources allow us to do? Do we not understand what the Holy Spirit teaches? “For every man shall bear his own burden” and “For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.”?

Understanding the Apostle Paul had no Bible to give for it was not yet written. But he accomplished more by himself and writing letters than all the pastors of today.

Learn to use all that God has already given us. Understanding how God meant us to help one another with our daily burdens;

Romans 15:1-7 (KJV)

1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

Galatians 6:2-5 (KJV)

2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

5 For every man shall bear his own burden.

2 Corinthians 8:12-15 (KJV)

12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: 14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:

15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

1 Timothy 5:8 (KJV)

8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Then Fulfill Christ Last Commandment

 Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)

18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Understanding it is the Willing desire of our heart with our Faith and Obedience God is seeking. For man will never complete the Great Commission, as it is written about the coming of Christ;

Revelation 14:6-7 (KJV)

6  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Understanding, “if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.” Use that which God has already given. The when God see we are a good steward over what He has give us, He Will then give us more.

You shall be Called by a New Name

You shall be Called by a New Name

Brothers and Sisters seek not to make a name of the flesh and the world. For all things of the flesh and the world will pass away.
But seek to receive that New Name written in Heaven that only God knows. For this is as it is written;

Isaiah 62:1-3 (KJV)
1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Revelation 2:17 (KJV)
17  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that over cometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.

Revelation 3:12-13 (KJV)
12  Him that over cometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

And Remember;

Matthew 6:31-34 (KJV)
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Called of the Word by the Word and Through the Word

Called of the Word by the Word and Through the Word

Brothers and Sisters, do we not know and understand that we are and have been called by God through Christ, the Living Word? Called unto salvation to deliver His Spirit and Truth of His Word, Christ Jesus?

Do we not know our Salvation starts with keeping the Word as it is written?

Leviticus 22:31-32 (KJV)
31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. 32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,

Deuteronomy 4:2 (KJV)
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Do we not know that there a price to be paid if we do not answer God’s calling?

Jeremiah 35:17 (KJV)
17  Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

And that all have been called, but cannot be chosen if they do not answer?

Matthew 22:14 (KJV)
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

John 4:23-24 (KJV)
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Romans 8:29-30 (KJV)
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

1 Corinthians 1:5-9 (KJV)
5  That in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6  Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7  So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8  Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 7:17-20 (KJV)
17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Ephesians 4:2-7 (KJV)
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Philippians 3:14 (KJV)
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:12-15 (KJV)
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 (KJV)
11  Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: 12  That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 1:9-10 (KJV)
9  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10  But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

1 Peter 1:13-16 (KJV)
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

1 Peter 2:21 (KJV)
21 For even here unto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

1 Peter 5:10-11 (KJV)
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

2 Peter 1:10-11 (KJV)
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

So, let us make our calling and election sure and answer God’s calling when we hear Him, the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus. And Answer with a Faith and Obedience of a Pure Heart.

(John 1:1-4 & 14 / 2 Peter 1:16-21)

Thus, says the Lord, as the time was, it is now, as it is written!

Thus, says the Lord, as the time was, it is now, as it is written!

Ezekiel 13:1-9 (KJV)
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD. 6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. 7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD. 9  And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 18:4, 20 (KJV)
4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Brothers and Sisters, as God has said all souls are mine and the soul that sins shall die. Simply put the souls that walks not by the whole Spirit and Truth of God’s Word as it is written shall die. For Christ has also spoken unto us saying;

John 6:63 (KJV)
63 It is the spirit that quickened (gives life); the flesh profited nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 15:50 (KJV)
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Each one of us is responsible for our own salvation and the understanding of God’s Word that leads to salvation. There are many false prophets, teachers, pastors evangelist in the world today. Who take God’s Word and twist it to fit the “doctrine taught as the commands of men”. These are the children of Satan, as we are warned of;

2 Corinthians 11:12-15 (KJV)

12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

So, take heed the Word as written;

Hebrews 4:12-13 (KJV)
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

For now, is the time of separation and the trials and persecutions that will lead us to the tribulation are now. So, let us prove our faith, for;

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (KJV)
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

2 Corinthians 13:5-6 (KJV)
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-22 (KJV)
16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesying’s. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

1 John 4:1 (KJV)
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

For this is God’s promise unto the Born Again of the Indwelling;

Revelation 3:10 (KJV)
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

What does it mean to believe? The Old Covenant vs New Covenant

What does it mean to believe? The Old Covenant vs New Covenant

Believe-

Hebrew Strong’s Number: 539 Hebrew Word: ‏אָמַן‎ Transliteration: ʾāman

a primitive root; properly to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figurative to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; moral to be true or certain; once (Isa. 30:21; by interchange for <H541> (‘aman)) to go to the right hand :- hence assurance, believe, bring up, establish, + fail, be faithful (of long continuance, steadfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust, turn to the right.

Greek Strong’s Number: 4100 Greek Word: πιστεύω Transliteration: pistol

from <G4102> (pistis); to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), i.e. credit; by implication to entrust (especially one’s spiritual well-being to Christ): – believe (-r), commit (to trust), put in trust with.

Psalm 119:65-68 (KJV)
65 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
68 Thou art good and does good; teach me thy statutes.

John 1:11-13 (KJV)
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 5:23-24 (KJV)
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Brothers and Sister, it is a must that we understand what we are being taught, for our own sake as well as the sake of those we teach. Often time we try and mix the Old and New Covenant teachings together, in the belief that as it is written God and His Word is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Which is true and both the Old and the New are the same in the Spirit of the Word but not always in the Letter of the Word. And so, it is written;

Romans 3:19-20 (KJV)
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 7:5-6 (KJV)
5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (KJV)
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

So, as we can see from these scriptures and definitions, we cannot just take any part of the Word at face value but need the knowledge and understanding of the whole Word. By Study and prayer unto the Holy Spirit for conformation and revelation.

God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus

God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus

Philippians 4:18-20 (KJV)
18 But I have all, and abound I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God.

19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Brothers and Sisters, all too often we hear the Word being used to support someone’s point that they are trying put across. But using a passage out of context, which usually makes the wrong impression, for it is a half truth and not the whole truth. Case in point the above passages Philippians 4, people love to use verse 19, but not in its entirety, quoting “God shall supply all your need” or they will quote the whole verse but not give it in context.

And the most common point is, that all we have to do is believe and ask and God pays off. Not giving the whole truth which says, we must be Born Again of the Indwelling to receive anything from God through Christ.

Now take Philippines 4:18-20 with the following passages and see God’s whole truth.

Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)
21 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

John 3:5-7 (KJV)
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

1 John 3:2-11 (KJV)
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abides in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7 Little children let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Now, let us all try and prove ourselves to be worthy by teaching the whole truth of God’s Word. All for the sake of salvation, ours and others. For if we believe in and teach half truths who can we believe God is going to believe our confession and repentance? Or how can another we teach find God for themselves?

God’s Justification, the Becoming Born Again by the Indwelling

God’s Justification, the Becoming Born Again by the Indwelling

Romans 5:1-5 (KJV)
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

What is this justification by Faith? It simply is the act of being Born Again by the Indwelling of Christ Holy Spirit. Through the Grace of God by the washing of the Blood according to our Faith and Obedience unto God’s Will. And what does this look like?

Born of God Born of the Spirit Born Again unto Salvation

John 3:3, 5-7 (KJV)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

1 John 3:9-11 (KJV)

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remained in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Just as it was with the Apostles, after Christ resurrection;

John 20:19-23 (KJV) (Apostles Commissioned)

19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in their midst and said unto them, “Peace be unto you.” 20 And when He had so said, He showed unto them His hands and His side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord.

21 Then said Jesus to them again, “Peace be unto you. As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said unto them, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost.

23 Whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosoever sins ye retain, they are retained.”

Acts 1:3-8 (KJV) (Apostles would soon be Baptized with the Power of the Holy Spirit)

3 To these also He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen by them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God

.4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, “which,” saith He, “ye have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.”

6 When they therefore had come together, they asked of Him, saying, “Lord, wilt Thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said unto them, “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in His own power.

8 But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Acts 2:1-4 (Apostles receive the Baptism of the Power of the Holy Spirit)

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And as we can see here the Apostles received the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit first John 20:19-23 and then the power of the Holy Spirit, Baptism of Fire or Spiritual Gifts, later Acts 1:3-8 / Acts 2:1-4.

From this consider, that as the Apostles who received the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit first without the power, Baptism of Fire, were first Justified by the Grace of God through the Blood and according to their Faith And Obedience to His Will. Then when God called them ready, they received the Baptism of Fire, the Spiritual Gifts to do His Work.

So, consider as it is written justification is the Indwelling of Christ Holy Spirit and not the Baptism of Fire or receiving of the spiritual gifts to do His Work.

Remembering Paul’s words;

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (KJV)

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit thereby:

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.

11 But all of these that one and the selfsame Spirit worketh, apportioning to every man individually as He will.

27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

28 And God hath set some in the church: first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracle workers, then those with gifts of healing, helpers, administrators, and those with diversity of tongues.

29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

Also remembering spiritual gifts are not the sign of justification or salvation;

Matthew 7:18-23 (KJV)
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Awake and Prepare time is shorter than we think

Awake and Prepare time is shorter than we think, and change is coming God is Faithful to the Faithful

Brothers and Sisters think not we are saved according to our own mind, but according to the Word as it is written. And try and prove our Faith, Confession and Repentance according to the Word as written. For it is written;

Now listen to the Words of the Lord Our God and pray unto the Holy Spirit of Christ and receive His Revelation. For the time of separation followed by trials and persecutions on all, is here.

Christ suffered for us in the flesh

1 Peter 4:1-5 (KJV)
1  Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

3  For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4  Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

The Prophets Anguish and Hope

Lamentations 3:1-66 (KJV)
1 I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. 2 He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.

3 Surely against me is he turned; he turned his hand against me all the day. 4 My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones. 5 He hath builded against me and compassed me with gall and travail. 6 He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old. 7 He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.

8 Also when I cry and shout, he shuts out my prayer. 9 He hath enclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked. 10 He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.
11 He hath turned aside my ways and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate. 12 He hath bent his bow and set me as a mark for the arrow. 13 He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

14 I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day. 15 He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood. 16 He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes. 17 And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgot prosperity. 18 And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:

19 Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. 20 My soul hath them still in remembrance and is humbled in me. 21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have, I hope.

22 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore, will I hope in him. 25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.

26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. 27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. 28 He sitteth alone and keeps silence, because he hath borne it upon him.

29 He puts his mouth in the dust; if so, be there may be hope. 30 He giveth his cheek to him that smites him: he is filled full with reproach. 31 For the Lord will not cast off for ever: 32 But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

33 For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. 34 To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth, 35 To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High, 36 To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approves not.

37 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commanded it not? 38 Out of the mouth of the Highest proceeds not evil and good?

39 Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? 40 Let us search and try our ways and turn again to the LORD. 41 Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

42 We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned. 43 Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied. 44 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.

45 Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people. 46 All our enemies have opened their mouths against us. 47 Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.

48 Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people. 49 Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission, 50 Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven. 51 Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.

52 Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause. 53 They have cut off my life in the dungeon and cast a stone upon me. 54 Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off.

55 I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. 56 Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. 57 Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.

58 O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life. 59 O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause. 60 Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me. 61 Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; 62 The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day. 63 Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick.

64 Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands. 65 Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them. 66 Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.

Rise or Fall by the Hand of God

Rise or Fall by the Hand of God

Arise By God’s Hand unto Salvation

John 3:3, 5-7 (KJV)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

1 John 4:6-8 (KJV)

6 We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

7 Beloved let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God and knows God. 8 He that loveth not knows not God; for God is love.

1 John 5:1-6 (KJV)

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

4 For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

5 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

1 John 5:17-19 (KJV)

17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

18 We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not. 19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

Or Fall By God’s Hand unto Condemnation

Judges 8:21 (KJV)
21 Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, Rise thou, and fall upon us: for as the man is, so is his strength. And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments that were on their camels’ necks.

Psalm 140:10 (KJV)
10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.

Isaiah 24:20 (KJV)
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Jeremiah 25:27 (KJV)
27 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.

Lamentations 1:14 (KJV)
14 The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.

Amos 8:14 (KJV)
14 They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, lives; and, The manner of Beersheba lived; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

Revelation 14:17-20 (KJV)
17 And another angel came out of the temple, which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

The choice belongs to each one of us, and only we can secure it for ourselves.

So, choose now before it is too late, for it is written;

Matthew 24:36 (KJV)
36 But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Teachable or Born Again

Teachable or Born Again

Let us first understand, our walk with Christ first starts in the flesh and finishes when we are Born Again and then walk in the Spirit, by His spiritual example.

So, then the question, or desire, is not that we remain teachable, but to become Born Again by the Indwelling of Christ.

For to remain teachable we remain in the flesh. But when we become Born Again, we become teachers in by and through the Holy Spirit of Christ. Of whom it is written;

Matthew 10:20 (KJV)
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.

So, now let us see Christ’s Truth of this. In the Old Covenant we are told to seek Him to;

Psalm 25:4-5 (KJV)
4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5 Lead me in thy truth and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psalm 25:8-9 (KJV)
8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore, will he teach sinners in the way.
9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

We plead for God to;

Psalm 27:9-11 (KJV)
9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

Psalm 51:12-14 (KJV)
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

We confess;

Psalm 119:11-14 (KJV)
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

We are instructed;

Proverbs 9:9-10 (KJV)
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Proverbs 16:21-23 (KJV)
21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increase learning.
22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.
23 The heart of the wise teaches his mouth and added learning to his lips.

And we receive God’s promise of the New Covenant;

Jeremiah 31:31-34 (KJV)
31  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

And Jesus echoes the Words of the Old Covenant on which the New Covenant is built;

Matthew 5:17-19 (KJV)
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

And warning is given;

Matthew 15:7-9 (KJV)
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias (Isaiah) prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth, and honored me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

But the Holy Spirit of Christ reminds us that;

1 Corinthians 2:12-14 (KJV)
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Galatians 3:23-26 (KJV)

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

And the Holy Spirit Chastises us;

Hebrews 5:12-14 (KJV)
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

However, we can only reach that skillful use of the Word when we become Born Again;

And what does the Holy Spirit of Christ say about being Born Again?

John 3:3, 5-7 (KJV)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Born Again in that Spirit of Christ;

Ephesians 1:11-14 (KJV)

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

For;
