No Flesh in Heaven Only Spirit

No Flesh in Heaven Only Spirit

Let us start by understanding what God means by Flesh (Natural Body), Soul (Spiritual Body) and Spirit. And what is written that we, the Born Again, shall be like Him the Holy Spirit, Christ Jesus.

1 John 3:1-2 (KJV)
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:

but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Soul G5590 ψυχή (l05x) psuche, psoo-khay’; from 5594; breath

That in which there is life, a living being a living soul (1Cor 15:45);

The Soul, the seat of the feeling’s desires, affections, aversions, (Luke 1: 46; 2:35)

The, (human) soul in so far as it is constituted that by the right use of the aids offered it by God it can attain its highest end and secure eternal blessedness. the soul regarded as a moral being designed for everlasting life (3 Jn 2; 1 Pet 2:11)

The soul as an essence which differs from the body and is not dissolved by death. (distinguished from other parts of the body), Mt 10:28; Rev 6:9

Natural Body 5591ψυχικός (6x) psuchikos, psoo-khee-kos’; – from 5590; sensitive

The psychikos person one who yields in everything to the human reasoning’s of the soul (5590), not thinking there is need for help from above.

Spirit G4151 πνεῦμα (385x) pneuma, pnyü’-mä; – from 4154;

(human) the rational soul

(superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit: -Spirit(111x). Holy Ghost (89x), Spirit (of God) (13x), Spirit (of the Lord) (5x),

Spiritual Body G4152 πνευματικός (26x) pneumatikos, pnyü-mä-tē-ko’s

mat-ik-os’; from 4151;

The resurrection body of the dead in Christ is “spiritual,” i.e., such as is suited to the heavenly environment, 1 Car 15:44;

All that is produced and maintained among men by the operations of the Spirit of God is “spiritual,” l Cor 15:46 …. The spiritual man is one who walks by the Spirit both in the sense of Gal 5:16 and in that of 5:25, and who, himself, manifests the fruit of the Spirit in His own ways. According to the Scriptures; the “spiritual” state of soul is normal for the believer. but to this state all believers do not attain, nor when, it is attained is it always maintained. Thus the; apostle, in 1 Cor 3:1-3, suggests a contrast between this spiritual state and that of the babe ‘ in Christ, i.e., of the man who because of immaturity and inexperience has not yet reached spirituality, and that of the man who by permitting jealousy, and the strife to which jealousy always leads, has lost it. The spiritual state is reached by diligence in the Word of God and in prayer; it is maintained by obedience and self-Judgment. Such as are led by the Spirit are spiritual, but, of course, spirituality is not a fixed or absolute condition, it admits of growth; indeed, growth in ‘the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” 2 Pet 3:18, is evidence of, true spirituality.

AS IT IS WRITTEN;

Genesis 3:19 (KJV)

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken, for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

John 6:63 (AKJV)

63 It is the spirit that quickens (gives life); the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 15:50 (AKJV)

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Even in the Living Word Christ Jesus there is the Letter (Natural) and the Spirit of the Word;

Here we see the Spirit of the Word Written on our hearts and minds;

Jeremiah 31:31-34 (KJV)

31  Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband unto them, said the LORD:

33  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, said the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Paul explains the difference;

Romans 2:28-29 (KJV)

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 3:19-22 (KJV)

19 Now we know that what things so ever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 7:5-6 (KJV)

5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (KJV)

4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit giveth life.

For even in our Faith it is by the Spirit of God’s Grace and the Letter (natural/written) Word, that the Letter of the Word is our schoolmaster to bring the Flesh unto the Spirit.

Romans 4:13-17 (KJV)

13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

16  Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickened the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

Galatians 3:23-26 (KJV)

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

For this reason, we are compelled to sacrifice the Flesh that the Spirit might live;

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

FOR IT IS WRITTEN;

John 3:3, 5-7 (KJV)

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

By the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus;

Ephesians 1:11-14 (KJV)

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

1 John 3:9-11 (KJV)

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remained in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

So, if we are truly seeking and desire the Indwelling. Let it be by the Complete and desired Faith of a willing Obedience unto God’s Will, of our Soul and Spirit making our Flesh a Living Sacrifice unto God through Christ Jesus.

If we do any less there is no salvation. For Christ gave His all on the cross and we must give God our all, Soul and Spirit, heart and mind.

So, let us purge ourselves of the lust and desires of the things of the flesh and the world. Seeking first the Kingdom of God as written.

Matthew 6:31-34 (KJV)

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Are we ready for salvation? Can we say we do not sin against God and Christ, the Living Word?

Kingdom Within You

Kingdom Within You

Psalm 108:1-6 (KJV)
1 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2 Awake, psaltery
(lyre harp) and harp: I myself will awake early.
3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
4 For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reaches unto the clouds.
5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
6 That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand and answer me.

Ezekiel 36:25-27 (KJV)
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Luke 17:21 (KJV)
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Ephesians 3:14-16 (KJV)
14  For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

The Law the Flesh and the Spirit

The Law the Flesh and the Spirit

Romans 3:19-20 (KJV)

19 Now we know that what things so ever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 8:2-17 (KJV)

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4  That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Let us hold tight to our Faith that is Christ Jesus

Let us hold tight to our Faith that is Christ Jesus

Colossians 1:12-20 (KJV)

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

2 Peter 3:8-14 (KJV)

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

For;

God’s Qualifications for Hell

God’s Qualifications for Hell

Romans 1:18-32 (KJV)
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31  Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Are we guilty of even one of these sins?

Therefore, let us remember the Words of Jesus.

Matthew 5:17-20 (KJV)
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

For it is written;

Written in the Book of Works

Written in the Book of Works

How does God see us as He reads through the Book of Works in heaven? Sees all of our works as recorded (Revelation 20:12). Every word, picture, thought, glance, ill feeling, murmured curse, evil use of God’s name, praise, worship, prayer, blessing one another, all recorded in the Book of Works by which we will be judged unto the rewards of Grace or Condemnation. Depending on if our name is written in the Book of Life.

Now read God’s Words below and let us spiritually judge ourselves, and our Works. Do we, and or, our Works match God’s Words, letter for letter? How will God judge our works?

2 Corinthians 6:4-10 (KJV)

4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, 7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Galatians 5:19-24 (KJV)

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Ephesians 4:1-7 (KJV)

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Remember there are two books in Heaven the Book of Life and the Book of Works. Everything we do is recorded in the Book of Works and we will be judged by what is written. Either for our rewards in heaven or our condemnation in hell.

Revelation 20:12 (KJV)

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Genesis 6 verse 3 his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

Genesis 6 verse 3 his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

Genesis 6:3 (KJV)

3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always “strive” with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Strive – Hebrew Strong’s Number: 1777

Hebrew Word: ‏דִּין‎

Transliteration: dîn

English Words used in KJV:

judge 18, plead the cause 2, contend 1, execute 1, plead 1, strife 1

or (Gen. 6:3) duwn, doon; a primitive root [compare <H113> (‘adown)]; to rule; by implication to judge (as umpire); also to strive (as at law) :- contend, execute (judgment), judge, minister judgment, plead (the cause), at strife, strive.

Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.

Brother this verse is one of the most misinterpreted scriptures in the Bible and has nothing to do with the length of a man’s physical life and how long man will live, but the state or fate of man’s soul and spirit, as judged by God.

God has instructed me to be silent until now on this revelation. For too many self-professed believers still need the milk of God’s teachings and are not ready for the strong meat of the Word. And as it happened with Jesus, when gave the strong meat of eating of His flesh and drinking of His blood, many fell away;

John 6:58-61 (KJV)
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

John 6:64-66 (KJV)
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

God’s revelation of the Holy Spirit spoke that in the same way, because the part of the verse about striving was not understood and was taught as a statement about the length of man’s years. Many will not except this teaching. So, I pray all will seek the Holy Spirit in prayer for their own confirmation and revelation.

As we can see from the Strong’s translation (above). Here in Genesis 6:3 God is simply saying that He Will no longer “strive” with man and man’s salvation if man lives longer than 120 years. At that point the state or fate of our soul and spirit are sealed at that point, and God Will no longer try and save them if they are not already Born again.

And remembering even if we are Born Again, we must endure and overcome the flesh and the world, until we physically die, or Christ comes. For it is Written;

If we are Born Again, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of “promise”, the earnest of our inheritance “until the redemption of the purchased possession”, our soul and spirit.

Ephesians 1:12-14 (KJV)
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

For the flesh cannot inherit.

John 6:63 (KJV)
63 It is the spirit that quickens (gives life); the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

1 Corinthians 15:50 (KJV)
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

So let us eat and drink of the True Flesh and Blood of Christ. The understand of the strong meat of the Word of God, in both the Letter and the Spirit. And remember we teach and believe God and His Word are the same yesterday today and tomorrow, for eternity. And the scripture bear out many of our forefathers lived long lives and God did not turn away from the righteous. For God spoke this in Genesis 6:3 and then in Genesis 9:29 it is said Noah lived to be 950 years old.

So in this scripture, when taken in context of all of God’s Word. God is establishing a time limit on receiving salvation, being Born Again. A 120 years or death of the flesh.

All things come through God and Christ Alone!

All things come through God and Christ Alone!

Matthew 23:8-12 (KJV)

8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

John 14:6-7 (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Matthew 10:39-41 (KJV)

39 He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

40 He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me. 41 He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

Pray and believe in what or whom we want. Knowing The Grace and Mercy of God comes through the Holy Spirit of the Living Word Christ Jesus. Even the blessing of a righteous Prophet or man are of and by God through Christ.

Romans 13:7-8 (KJV)
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Romans 13:11-14 (KJV)
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

What and Why should we Seek?

What and Why should we Seek?

Deuteronomy 4:29-31 (KJV)
29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

30  When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31  (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he swore unto them.

Why? For God also seeks those that seek Him.

Psalm 14:1-3 (KJV)
1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

What does God say about them He seeks?

Psalm 24:3-6 (KJV)
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

What shall we say that we seek?

Psalm 27:3-5 (KJV)
3 Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

Malachi 2:5-7 (KJV)
5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
7 For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

For Christ Jesus as set the example.

John 5:30 (KJV)
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Romans 2:6-7 (KJV)
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

So let us continually seek His guidance for it is written;

1 Corinthians 10:23-24 (KJV)
23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

Colossians 3:1-4 (KJV)
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

So let us walk spiritually by God’s Grace through Christ Jesus and our Faith and Obedience to His Will.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

1 Peter 3:10-12 (KJV)
10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

And let us become Born Again of the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus, for it is written.

Why did Jesus give Peter the Keys to the Kingdom?

Why did Jesus give Peter the Keys to the Kingdom?

I have heard many explanations for this, but most were making assumptions not in facts.

Let’s us consider what are the facts? We know Peter was a devout Jew and seeking the Jewish idea of the messiah, as were most Jews. So we can say Peter was open to what Jesus brought forth. And as all Jewish men he knew the scriptures by heart and about the messianic prophecies. That with the fact Peter was a humble man. So all in all Peter as the other Apostles were ripe candidates for Jesus and His Ministry.

Now let look at the facts of Jesus. What and who was He looking for? Devout Jews, of humble heart and open mind, soul and spirit, so to receive His message. Which all the Apostles, the 11 that were with Jesus during all of His ministry.

For it is written;

Matthew 10:5-6 (KJV)

5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And again;

Matthew 15:22-24 (KJV)

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she cried after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

So what set Peter aside to receive such a blessing of the Keys to the Kingdom? Remembering the facts John was the one loved most by Jesus, and Peter at the end denied Jesus three times.

So why Peter? Simply because Jesus was also looking for one who could lead from the start, and Peter was the first to fully open His heart, mind and soul to the Holy Spirit and see the truth of Jesus and who He was. But even then, Peter could not yet see the whole truth of who Jesus really was.

The one fact that can prove this, is that none of the Apostles after three years with Jesus yet fully believed, for they were still holding on the Jewish idea of Messiah. Their eyes were not opened and saved unto Jesus first appearance in the upper room on the day of His Resurrection.

John 20:19-23 (KJV) (Apostles Commissioned) 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in their midst and said unto them, “Peace be unto you.” 20 And when He had so said, He showed unto them His hands and His side. Then were the disciples glad when they saw the Lord. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, “Peace be unto you. As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said unto them, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost. 23 Whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whosoever sins ye retain, they are retained.”

Acts 1:3-8 (KJV) (Apostles would soon be Baptized with the Power of the Holy Spirit) 3 To these also He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen by them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God .4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, “which,” saith He, “ye have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.” 6 When they therefore had come together, they asked of Him, saying, “Lord, wilt Thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said unto them, “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father hath put in His own power. 8 But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Acts 2:1-4 (Apostles receive the Baptism of the Power of the Holy Spirit) 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 10:44-48 (NKJV) 44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. 45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, 47 “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then they asked him to stay a few days.

Now, Brothers and Sisters, in light of this, let us ask ourselves, since we believe, have we received both the Holy Spirit and the quickening/baptism of the Holy Spirit?

For the scriptures show, as the Apostles receiving of the Holy Spirit and receiving the quickening/baptism of the Holy Spirit came separately. But the scriptures also show where the receiving of the Holy Spirit and the quickening/baptism of fire, can come at the same time. These facts, and the teaching of the Holy Spirit of Jesus, that teaches us God’s blessings come to each one individually and are received according to their faith.

So, let us each one make sure we have received both the Holy Spirit and the quickening/baptism of fire, and not allowing our pride to cause us to stumble, remembering it is God that makes the final decision as to our righteousness.
