Exodus 20:4-5 (KJV)

Salvation is of Faith and Obedience unto God through Christ Not Christianity

 

I pray we understand the difference between “Christianity” and the Faith of Obedience unto God through Christ!? The word Christian only appears three times in scripture.

 

Acts 11:26 (KJV)

26  And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

 

Acts 26:28 (KJV)

28  Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuades me to be a Christian.

 

1 Peter 4:16 (KJV)

16  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

 

None of which, as you can see, are speaking to Faith but to the idea of Christianity. For it is written…

Habakkuk 2:4 (KJV)
4  Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

 

Romans 1:17 (KJV)
17  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

 

Galatians 3:11 (KJV)
11  But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

 

Hebrews 10:38 (KJV)
38  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

 

The Just live by Faith, for Faith is of the Obedient of God

 

Brothers and Sisters, many say they believe, they are faithful…but do they honor God…are they the obedient of God…who obey all His commandments?

 

Make sure your spiritual walk and your salvation, by the obedience of your Faith.

 

Hebrews 10:

26For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 
27but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 
28Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 
29Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 
30For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 

35Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 
36For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

38Now the just shall live by faith;

 

But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
39But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

 

Galatians 3: 

11But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.”

12Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.” 
13Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 
14that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

 

Romans 4:

16Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

 

Romans 10:

8But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 
9that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 
10For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 
11For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 
12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 
13For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

 

Letter and Spirit of the Word

From the beginning God has used the Power of His Holy Spirit, His Word to speak creation into being. And by His Power, of the Holy Spirit of the Word, God would manifest Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Indwelled and the Spirit of Truth the Comforter.

In the Old Covenant God’s Holy Spirit spoke to the Prophets and Patriarchs directly and through the Angels. Then with Moses, God gave man the Letter of the Word for the whole nation of Israel so all would know God’s Word and have no excuse not to obey.

When the Letter of the Word failed to bring lasting righteousness, due to the weakness of the flesh, God gave the Spirit of the Word indwelled, by writing on the hearts and minds of all men. Waiting to be awoken by the hearing of the Word spoken.

Now listen to the truth of the Letter and Spirit of the Word.

 

Jeremiah 31:31-34 (KJV)

31  Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband unto them, said the LORD:

 

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, said the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

 

Then God called Paul to teach the gentiles and explain salvation was no longer by the Letter of The Word, the Law of Moses alone. But our justification would now come through the Spirit of the Word Christ Jesus and the Indwelling. All by the Grace of God and a Faith of Obedience.

 

Romans 2:28-29 (KJV)

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

 

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

 

Romans 3:19-22 (KJV)

19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

 

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

 

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

 

Romans 7:5-6 (KJV)

5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

 

6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

63 It is the spirit that quickened (gives life); the flesh profited nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.

 

 

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit giveth life.

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

 

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

Let us prepare our Eternal Souls by, in, and through the Word. For Sorrows here and suffering will follow as written. Now listen to God’s instruction of how to walk forward.

9  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

So, let ask ourselves are we like the five wise virgins who prepared their things needs for what will come?

 

Are we Born Again of the Indwelling able to Spiritually Decern the times? To tell the difference between the nature of man and the world and the prophetic signs of the times?

 

Do we understand exactly what is “the abomination of desolation”? And what we should do when we see it?

 

Do we understand that only God Himself knows the time of these things, and we must be ready both physically as well as spiritually?

 

Do we truly understand that we have to neither for or against God and Christ? We have to be of the Spirit and not the Flesh? That there is no middle ground?

Are we Born Again? Do we hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking unto us? And are we being obedient unto what the Holy Spirit says? Without hesitation or doubt?

 

If not, make ready your souls, read Romans 1:17-32, and make sure you are not guilty of any of those things, or face the consciences of your choices. For as it is written, you have received your reward, and will spend eternity in hell.

Brothers and Sisters, we have elected or promoted people, that by their own words, are self-professed socialist, Islamic radical, LGBTQ and Christian at the same time, Christian that reportedly wants to put Christians on a terrorist list and round up Christians to give up their beliefs, for going against the LGBTQ agenda. All which go against the Constitution of our Country and the Word of God. And our churches back them, preaching love and half-truths, when they should be putting on the Armor of righteousness and defending the Word, Christ Jesus, and God.

All by your Faith of Obedience according to God’s Grace.

 

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.

 

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

 

In Jesus Name we pray these things that by Your Will it be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

 

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

 

Let us pray, that the Word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

27  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. 28  And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so, will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

29  In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge. 30  But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

So, this is the Messiah Covenant, the Covenant of the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Living Word of God, Christ. From Jeremiah to Revelation. The Covenant that would bring God down from heaven in the likeness of sinful flesh. As the only sacrifice that could cover the sins of the world.

 

So, let take time to honor and praise the love and sacrifice of God Almighty and Christ, and give them the gift of a Faith of a Willing Obedience and unfailing love for one another.

These are the Commands of marriage according to God and Christ. Let us make sure our marriages are honoring God by honor all of His Word on marriage.

28  So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29  For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church: 30  For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31  For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32  This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33  Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

 

Now in this day and time we are confronted about Gay Marriage. And God addressed this as follows. Showing Gay Marriage is no different than any other sin God hates.

Romans 1:17-32 (KJV)
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31  Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

 

Let us remember God has created us and as we are Born so God blessed and judges us. We can do all kind of things to physically change ourselves. But God will always see us as He created us, and judges us accordingly.
