Are we the New Scribes and Pharisees or the Called of the Born Again of God

Are we the New Scribes and Pharisees or the Called of the Born Again of God
Matthew 23:1-4 NKJV — Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. “Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. “For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
Do we just preaching to put on a show and reap that which is God’s? Taking what we can and leaving the people to suffer?
Matthew 23:8-13 NKJV — “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. “Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. “And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. “But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. “And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.
Do we call ourselves Apostle, Bishop, Pastor or teacher? So to gather glory for ourselves? Instead of leading the people in the way of God’s Word, By His example?
Matthew 23:16-23 NKJV — “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.’ “Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? “And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.’ “Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? “Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. “He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. “And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
Are we putting our Faith in churches of stone and wood and sacrifices of flesh and the world? Is it not written that the Body of Christ is God’s church and our Souls and Spirits are God’s Temple of the Spirit? Is it not written that we should not swear but make our Yes, Yes and No, No?
Matthew 5:34-37 NKJV — “But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; “nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. “Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. “But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Do we pray for ourselves and our needs instead of praying for others still lost and stumbling?
If we are Born Again what forgiveness do we need or what need do we have that the Father has not said He would already give us, so to do His work?
When we are Born Again and washed in the blood are not our past sins forgiven we are made spotless?
Romans 3:21-26 NKJV — But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
So why do we not require forgiveness for sins after the blood and being Born Again? For is it not written we sin not for we are Born of God?
1 John 3:9-11 NKJV — Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another
So let us ask ourselves are we Born Again and the forgiven of God seeking the grace, mercy and blessings of God for others as His Chosen Shepherds? Or are we still sinners in need of forgiveness and salvation?
The prayer of the Born Again is a prayer of Thanksgiving and Praise to Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And grace and mercy for the lost and stumbling.
