Worship in Spirit and Truth

The Word Spirit and Truth. Worship in Spirit and Truth.

John 4:23-24 (KJV)

23  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him.

24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

To worship in Spirit and Truth, the key is in verse 24;

John 4:24 (KJV)

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

What is the spirit and truth?

John 14:16-17 (KJV)

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 15:26 (KJV)

26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeded from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:13 (KJV)

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Spirit and Truth is the Spirit of Truth the Living Word of God Christ Jesus.

John 1:1-4 (KJV)

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:14 (KJV)

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

So to worship in Spirit and Truth, is to Worship God through His Living Word Christ Jesus, as it is written;

John 14:6-7 (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

So Brothers and Sisters, it is our choice, however God has the final Word of judgment no matter what we choose. We want salvation? Then it is by from and through the Living Word of God or nothing.
